We are so excited to have you and your precious child join the St. Andrew’s family. The purpose of this letter is to familiarize you with the routines and daily events in the Infant Center. Our goal is to make you and your child feel like the infant room is an extension of your home. Our nurturing staff will work with you to make sure that feeding, napping, and daily routines are consistent with those of your child’s home environment. St. Andrew’s believes that meeting each child’s emotional, social, and developmental needs is just as important as meeting their physical needs.
GET TO KNOW OUR SCHOOL
The school has been serving the community since 1947. Originally built as an elementary school, it has changed as the needs of the community changed. Now we offer an excellent developmentally appropriate preschool program for children ages 2 through 5. We also offer a nursery that serves infants as young as 6 weeks to 24 months. Our nursery opened in 1997 and has been a wonderful addition to our preschool family.

We are dedicated to education! Young children are naturally curious about the world around them, and everything we do at St. Andrew’s Day School helps foster each child’s uniqueness. Play-based learning, grounded by a deep appreciation for child-centered curriculum, guides our approach to instruction. Our talented team of educators deepens each child’s sense of wonder as students engage in rich, meaningful, and relevant interactions. Our curriculum engages intentional read-aloud and kinesthetic, auditory, visual, and tactile learners built upon a developmentally appropriate framework. Through these learning experiences, we hope to prepare a generation of children to become creative, compassionate, critical thinkers in today’s ever-changing world.
